My Reviews –

01 – Seven Days And Seven Nights – hmm. So I don’t know exactly what to think of this song. I mean it’s typical Swedish Pop/Rock, but honestly…the singers voice really bugs me. I feel like I’d like it more if someone else sang it. 04 Points out of 10.

02 – My Heart’s Refusing Me. I really, really want to love this song. Scratch that, I really really want to love the awesome dance song that follows the 3 minutes of build up. It’s just a lot of “getting ready to be awesome”. But it doesn’t get there. It just stays….kinda flat. Eh. 05 Points out 10.

03 – Ge Mig En Spanjor (Give Me A Spaniard) – OMG! This is like a BAD cover of the amazing Swedish Drag Duo AfterDark. This song is trying real hard to reach a very select group of people, who no doubt will love this. I’m not one of them. 04 Points out of 10.

04 - Vaken I En Dröm (Awake In A Dream). Elisabeth is awesome. She has TONS of ESC experience (For Sweden – 2^nd in MF 1981, Winner of MF 1982, MF 1984, MF 1990, 3^rd in MF 2002 with the just so swingy “Vem É Dé Du Vill Ha”. Norway – WON ESC 1985 for Norway, went to ESC 1994 for Norway, 2^nd in ESC 1996 for Norway…the list just goes on and on). Anywho, this song is just ever so delicate and graceful and gorgeous. Ugh. Love. 07 Points out of 10.

05 – I’m In Love –

Fucking. Sanna. She does it again! She’s gorgeous and perfection and everything that makes me want to move to Sweden. This song is amazing and perfect. Winner. 15 Points out of 10.

06 – Oh My God! – This song is just ever so quirky and adorable. I kinda love it and I can’t help but bob along to it. 07 Points out of 10.

07 – Elektrisk (Electric) – Brilliant. Love. Adore. Awesome. Great. 09 Points out of 10.

08 – Like Suicide – Eh, I get it. You’re a young Swedish male trying to be sincere and classy with a noble ballad. It’s kinda good. 06 Points out of 10.

I listened to all 8 songs, in random order, 4 Times. Then I continued to listen to them, in random order on repeat. After each Listen, I took one song out of the running and assigned it Televotes based on what felt right. After I had taken out all 8 songs, the Song with the most votes advanced to my Final. The 2^nd – 5^th place songs advanced to the Second Round.
